1 day agoKey points. 3 hours agoTragic teen Cassius Turvey was due to start work in a training program at Gina Rineharts Roy Hill mine in the Pilbara when he was allegedly murdered in what the Prime. Cassius died on October 23 10 days after the incident on Lloyd Street in Middle Swan just north of where Mondays vigil was held.

On the 13th of October 2022 kind and gentle 15-year-old Cassius Turvey was viciously attacked with a metal pole by men who were unknown to him while he was walking home in his school. Police said a man 21 was being held in connection with the attack. She has been praised for her humanity.

Sadly he succumbed to his injuries on October 23 ten days. A black Ford Ranger ute stopped beside them at about 430pm. On the 13th of October 2022 our dear 15 year old Cassius Turvey was viciously attacked with a metal pole by men who were unknown to him.

Turveys family released a statement on his death saying his attackers knew he was a school-age child. Cassius Turvey should still be here his family should not be burying their son. They presumed he was the person responsible.

Thousands of mourners gathered this. We are a better country than that and my heart goes out to the family and the friends.
